How do I create a new account?

New accounts can only be created by school administrators. If you're a student or teacher, please contact your school administrator to create an account for you. They will provide you with login credentials.

If you're a school administrator looking to implement Edantra at your institution, please contact our sales team at sales@edantraeducation.com to get started.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

To reset your password:

  1. Open the Edantra app and tap on "Forgot Password" on the login screen
  2. Enter the email address associated with your account
  3. Check your email for a password reset link
  4. Click the link and follow the instructions to create a new password

If you don't receive a reset email within a few minutes, check your spam folder or contact your school administrator for assistance.

How do I update my profile information?

To update your profile information:

  1. Log in to the Edantra app
  2. Navigate to the Profile section by tapping on your profile icon
  3. Tap on "Edit Profile"
  4. Update your information as needed
  5. Tap "Save" to confirm your changes

Note: Some information may only be editable by your school administrator. If you need to change information that you cannot edit yourself, please contact your administrator.

How do I delete my account?

To request deletion of your account:

  1. Go to your Profile screen in the app
  2. Scroll down and tap on "Delete My Account"
  3. You'll be directed to our account deletion request form
  4. Fill out the form with your details
  5. Submit the form

Please note that account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Our team will process your request within 7 business days.

Using the App

How do I navigate between different sections of the app?

The Edantra app features a bottom navigation bar that allows you to easily switch between different sections:

  • Home: View your dashboard with upcoming assignments and notices
  • Assignments: Access your current and past assignments
  • Homework: View scheduled events, exams, and due dates
  • Notices: View scheduled events, exams, and due dates

Teachers and administrators have additional sections available based on their roles and permissions.

Can I use Edantra on multiple devices?

Yes, you can use Edantra on multiple devices. Simply install the app on each device and log in with your credentials. Your data will be synchronized across all devices.

Edantra is available for:

  • iOS devices (iPhone and iPad)
  • Android devices (phones and tablets)

Note: For security reasons, if you log in on too many devices simultaneously, you may be asked to verify your identity or some older sessions may be automatically logged out.

Does Edantra work offline?

Edantra has limited offline functionality. When you're offline, you can:

  • View previously loaded assignments
  • Read cached notices and messages
  • View your schedule and calendar events

However, to access the full functionality of the app, including submitting assignments, sending messages, and accessing the latest content, an internet connection is required.

Any changes made while offline will be synchronized with our servers once you reconnect to the internet.

Assignments & Homework

How do I submit an assignment?

To submit an assignment:

  1. Navigate to the Assignments section
  2. Select the assignment you want to submit
  3. Tap on "Submit Assignment"
  4. Upload your files or type your response as required
  5. Review your submission
  6. Tap "Submit" to complete the process

You'll receive a confirmation once your assignment has been successfully submitted. You can view the status of your submissions in the Assignments section.

Can I edit or resubmit an assignment after submitting it?

Whether you can edit or resubmit an assignment depends on the settings chosen by your teacher:

  • If resubmission is allowed, you'll see a "Resubmit" option on your submitted assignment
  • If the deadline has passed, resubmission might be disabled even if it was previously allowed
  • Some assignments may allow multiple submissions before the deadline

If you need to make changes to a submission that doesn't allow resubmission, contact your teacher directly to request permission.

How do I check my assignment grades and feedback?

To check your grades and feedback:

  1. Go to the Assignments section
  2. Tap on "Completed" to view your submitted assignments
  3. Assignments that have been graded will show a grade indicator
  4. Tap on the assignment to view detailed feedback

You'll be able to see your score, any comments from your teacher, and sometimes annotated feedback on your submitted work.

You can also view all your grades in the "Grades" section, which provides an overview of your performance across all subjects.

Technical Support

The app is crashing or not responding. What should I do?

If you're experiencing crashes or performance issues, try these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Close the app completely and restart it
  2. Restart your device
  3. Check if your app is updated to the latest version
  4. Clear the app cache (in your device settings)
  5. Ensure you have a stable internet connection
  6. Check if your device meets the minimum system requirements

How do I update the Edantra app?

To update the Edantra app:

For iOS devices:

  1. Open the App Store
  2. Tap on your profile icon
  3. Scroll down to see available updates
  4. Find Edantra and tap "Update"

For Android devices:

  1. Open the Google Play Store
  2. Tap on your profile icon
  3. Select "Manage apps & device"
  4. Check if updates are available for Edantra
  5. Tap "Update" if available

We recommend enabling automatic updates to ensure you always have the latest version with the newest features and security improvements.

I'm having trouble uploading files. What formats are supported?

Edantra supports the following file formats for assignment submissions:

  • Documents: PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT, RTF
  • Images: JPG, PNG, GIF
  • Presentations: PPT, PPTX
  • Spreadsheets: XLS, XLSX
  • Audio: MP3, WAV (max 10MB)
  • Video: MP4 (max 50MB)

If you're having trouble uploading files, check that:

  • Your file is in a supported format
  • The file size is within the limits (100MB maximum for most files)
  • You have a stable internet connection
  • You have sufficient storage space on your device

For larger files, consider compressing them or using cloud storage links if your teacher allows it.

  • Per-student licensing: Schools pay based on the number of enrolled students
  • Site license: A flat fee for unlimited users within a single school
